Tiny Forest in the News
It's the first day of school and we're excited to welcome all ICRS students back to campus. We're also excited to welcome our new music specialist, Ms. Kitty O'Neill to our school family!
Ms. O'Neill moved to Washington this year from South Bend, Indiana. She studied music education and graduated from Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame. Ms. O'Neill played the baritone horn in the Band of the Fighting Irish during her time in school. After graduation, she went on to teach middle and high school music in the South Bend public schools. When she was not teaching, she played the violin and viola in local community orchestras, musical theater productions, and sacred settings through the University of Notre Dame.
Moving to Washington from the Midwest has been a great adventure for Ms. O'Neill. She loves taking in the scenery and is amazed every time she sees a waterfall or mountain with snow on it!
Ms. O'Neill is excited to start teaching music at ICRS and is especially looking forward to meeting all of the students and their families.

We're just a month away from our 75th Anniversary Celebration and we can't wait to see you! We're excited to announce Farmstrong Brewing Co. as our beer garden sponsor! Come enjoy a pint and catch up with your grade school classmates.
