Kathy Cartee
ICRS Principal

Mrs. Cartee is certified by the state of Washington both as an Administrator and as a teacher. She has taught in both public and Catholic schools for 15 years and has been an administrator in both parishes and schools for 18 years. Mrs. Cartee received her Master's Degree is from Seattle University and Educational Leadership Administrative certificate from City University. She also attended Fort Wright College of the Holy Names in Spokane, Washington where she received her undergraduate degree.

Mrs. Cartee has served as principal at ICRS since July, 2002.  Numerous projects have been completed under her direction including the creation of a science lab, the school receiving accreditation from the NWCEA and NAAS and most recently, the completion of an extensive renovation of the campus playground. She oversees the School Improvement Plan which guides the school in projecting a five year plan, keeping our teachers on the cutting edge of curriculum planning, and educational research.  Other projects receiving her attention today are the expansion of the school's scholarship program, funding and building a new roof on the main campus building and oversight of a number of marketing and promotional efforts by the development and Endowment Committees. She and her husband Jack have three children: Kara, Matt and John, and two grandchildren, Jackson and Marlee.  The Cartee's live in Stanwood, Washington and are active members at St. Celia Parish.
